Lara Unplugged was inspired by Lara's love for the acoustic sound. It's a raw interpretation of Lara's extensive song book. The unplugged ensamble is as simple as a duo with guitar and vocals or as complex as she wants to make it! Lara released her "Lara & Laura Unplugged" CD in 2005 with guitar player veteran, Laura Chavez. It was on this CD that together the 2 women take the listener on a journey through the older blues styles all the way through to their own originals. Lara has a small team of Bay Area's finest acoustic players that play everything from Amy Winehouse to Bob Dillion to the late great BB King!
